SMS program

The Scottdale Minutemen Volunteer Alerts SMS program sends volunteer mission notices, assignment confirmations, waitlist updates, and essential coordination messages to volunteers who choose text alerts. Messages are sent only when volunteer help or assignment coordination is needed, during normal business hours. The program is never used for spam.

Consent

Text alerts are optional. Consent is not a condition of volunteering. Volunteers enroll by selecting the unchecked text-alert consent box in the volunteer onboarding form.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on available volunteer opportunities and assignment activity. Msg & data rates may apply.

STOP and HELP

Reply STOP to unsubscribe. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation and no further text alerts unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help. You may also disable text alerts from your volunteer profile.
