Community help made simple.

Scottdale Minutemen brings together people who need an extra hand and neighbors willing to lend one.

No meetings. No ongoing commitment. Help when you can.

What are the Scottdale Minutemen?

Plenty of people want to help their community without joining another organization, attending regular meetings or taking on another ongoing obligation.

At the same time, local organizations, community events and individual residents sometimes just need a few extra hands to get something done.

That's where the Minutemen come in.

We're a flexible network of volunteers. When a need comes up, we put out the call. If it works for you, sign up. If it doesn't, catch the next one.

Need a hand?

Request help

Anyone can request help from the Minutemen.

You might be organizing a community event and need volunteers for setup. You might represent a local organization that needs extra manpower. Or you might be a local resident who finds themselves in a situation where a few extra hands could really help.

Tell us what you need and when you need it. Every request is reviewed before it is shared with volunteers.

Need some privacy?

Individual residents can choose to keep their identity private from the public and volunteers. Minutemen administrators will still have the information needed to review and coordinate the request.

Scope

Individual requests are for physical, hands-on assistance only. Scottdale Minutemen does not provide financial or material aid.
